Basics of Christian relationships I have grown to accept along this journey..
1.You can be hurt and offended by the comments and remarks of those in church.
2. On the other hand, you can receive those comments from people who want to love and show their concern,they truly love you in their dysfunctional way.
Others are just mean, and you need the wisdom of God and the patience of Job, God the father,Son and Holy Spirit The 24 Elders on the Throne, the book of Hebrew 11th chapter and a work out in the Gym and 2 weeks vacation and a pay raise, a retirement plan and worship like David and pray like Daniel and suffer like John.
Nevertheless, if you step back and realize these are minor things and look at what Jesus endured at the cross, and arm yourself with the same attitude of Christ in forgiveness and love.
Broken people love and react in strange ways and do and say the wrong things to people they love. However, some are filled with fear ,anger, and distrust and project those feelings on others,hurting people hurt people and sometimes resent others trying to change them.
Don't let these things hurt, and forgive all offenses love and be love!
