I used to pray for a lot of people before. Visit hospitals and intensive care units, praying with my other sisters in the Lord, it was 4 of us sometimes 3, and I would sing over a person in that hospital bed, then we go our way, I have seen people with 2 hours left to live, come back from a vegetable state, cancer healed, strokes. I would hear about a person in need at work, and I would just find them in the directory and tell them;
"I do not know you, but I know a God that answers prayer, may I pray for you".
I got to know people just by sharing Jesus, but something happened in my walk, and I stopped, I backed off, I was part of the prayer chain for 12 years, but I would no longer step out in boldness and the authority of Jesus Christ.

The first item on my list for the Daniel fast. Why are you fasting?
To Break Generational Curses, to pray for sick people that they may see the Hand of God move on their behalf.

What are your dreams and visions?

Pastors Dave and Mardell have been in the ministry forever she was 17. He was 21 years old missionaries in the Philippines, dedicated their lives for the Lord's work. Around 4 years ago they decided to step out sharing a mutual dream, work with orphans indigenous children in Mexico, it has to be a success even though all their possessions were stolen. Not even a piece of paper from 40 years in ministry in the Philippines was left. Nevertheless, they still serve him drive around in a box truck feeding people, And this new location they have many others as well.
No too long ago he was diagnosed with prostate cancer at 74 years old, he came to the states for treatment only to be denied because he resides in Mexico, he was not given any assistance at all.
Member of his old congregation who are all over the place approached him and offer to pay for his treatment cash, he had started, and still serving the Lord in pain.
I had received a letter with bad news, pastor's wife was telling me that the doctor's didn't give him a good report no hope, but she was standing her ground in the Lord.
I immediately send a letter confessing God's word and standing in agreement with her for a miracle, as the word says signs and wonders follow those who believe, I believe....
I am excited to tell you, all Glory to king Jesus, our Pastor Dave has been miraculously healed, All we get is. This is a miracle. No more pain and suffering and no more treatments, no more doctors to go see, but better reports of services and works for the Lord, I just received a recent letter with a picture of a new location.
The Kingdom of God is advancing! The gates of hell do not prevail against the children of God.
God is still the same, yesterday Today and forever, Pastor Duley had mentioned in one of his sermons remember how God moved on your behalf before, so I started remembering all the time the Lord sent me to pray for sick people, to see His wonderful hand touch that vessel in need.
That God is the God that I am taking my petitions too on behalf of other in firmed brothers and sisters in the Lord.
Furthermore, one last thing, the Lord showed me in His word something that is an answer to my second request.
What are your dreams and visions? People heal during worship. See how the Leper, who needed Jesus. FIRST he worshiped Him!!! Amen let's meditate on that. Mathew8:1-4, 1 When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. 2 And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
3 Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Things can happen in our lives and we just quietly hide between the walls of our churches and do not step out to exercise and move in the purpose of what God created us to do. Ugly things happen in our lives, no one is immune from it, but I tell my kids, Look at the Beauty of the Lord, reflect on His mercy and how good He always has been no matter what we go through.Take your rightful place, Your life is not your own, it has been bought, with a price and in Him, we live, we move and have our being, all in the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, be encouraged that God HEARS the prayers of the righteous, HE IS WILLING!!!!

Your Body Is The Temple Of The Holy Spirit

On April 27th 2010 ended Kaleo's corporate Daniel fast, and yes we thought this day would not come soon enough! Some of us are going to continue fasting until the lord releases you, and you feel the spiritual breakthrough.

In my devotions today I was directed to this:

1 Corinthians 6:19(NIV)
19Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;

1 Corinthians 6:20(NIV)
20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

These scriptures spoke to me, that God made each one of us beautiful and healthy. We were not born with High blood pressure , strokes , diabetes or other preventable diseases. All of these are ailments, which are present in the body of Christ. I realize a lot of these are caused by the lack of good choices in the foods we eat. The scriptures direct us to care for our bodies, and what we put in it determines how healthy we are going to be. It became clear that God makes a huge emphasis on food. The first time presented healthy food is found Genesis 1:29 God told Adam what to eat. A diet of seeds and plant , low fat that would keep him well-preserved and not a greasy cheeseburger or pizza with lots of sausage and salami double stuffed or pasta's with heavy and creamy sauces. Not to mention all the sweets that give's us so much pleasure as well.

So I thought if I cannot eat what I love God wants me to STARVE. I confirmed that God wants me in good health, I read :

Duet. 8:7,8,9
7 For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with streams and pools of water, with springs flowing in the valleys and hills;
8 a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey;
9 a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills.

Here God is directing again, the children of Israel to a diet seeds, fruits, good bread and grains. Water instead of soda and sweet drinks. This knowledge encourages me to continue to control my flesh desires and my choices of food. I hope that you too will not abandon the blessing you have received at this time of fasting. I pray you will continue to make good choices.

Next time you will eat veggies and grains or nuts. Drink water instead of Soft drinks, think about the discipline God has taught you last week. A better way to treat your temple, which will bring good health and needed weightloss for me at least. I was told some of you lost as much as 10 pounds in one week. God's way is truly wonderful to us, as we control these areas in our lives. Continue your efforts to stay obedient to the scripture even in this area of our walk with God.

I also pray that you will set aside time each day, to pray and meditate on the goodness of God and gain knowledge through the scripture that sickness and bondage of the flesh don't belong to you. God made us free. Be encouraged this week to let the word of go all the way through you, better yet let the word read you and show you the areas that needed change in your life as you continue to hear from him. There is no better way to live for Jesus then to hear his voice directing your every day.

Deut. 8:3
3 He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.

I bid you to stay in tuned with his desires,

Yolanda Duley

Lebanese Vegetable Stew with Chickpeas

1 pound eggplant
1 large onion — chopped
Salt and freshly ground black pepper — (optional, to taste)
12 ounces zucchini (see cook’s notes) — diced (3/4-inch)
1 cup tomato sauce
2 garlic cloves — chopped (2 to 4)
1/4 teaspoon allspice — (optional)
1/2 cup water
15 ounces chickpeas, canned — drained
1/3 cup Italian parsley — chopped

Makes 6 appetizer servings

Cook’s notes: If available, Levy recommends using a pale-green zucchini variety. [Lebanese zucchini are slightly tapered, pale green with gray skin and are slightly shorter and thicker than yellow zucchini]

1. Preliminaries: If the eggplant skin is not tough, you don’t need to peel it. Cut the eggplant into a 3/4-inch dice.

2. Brown the onions: Heat a large nonstick skillet over a medium flame. Add the onion and saute 7 minutes, or until the onion starts to turn golden brown. If the onion dries out, add 1 tablespoon water and cover until onions are done.

3 .Saute vegetables: Add eggplant and salt and pepper, if desired. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add zucchini, cover and cook an additional 3 minutes.

4. Simmer, season the stew: Add the tomato sauce, garlic, allspice, water and chickpeas. Cover and cook over a low flame 25 minutes, or until eggplant is tender. Add half the parsley and simmer 30 seconds. Taste and adjust seasonings.
Stir in remaining parsley.

5. Presentation: Serve hot, at room temperature or cold.

Spread the vegetable mixture onto a baking pan, spritz with a non-stick spray, and roast about 3 inches from the flame or heat source for about 8 minutes, stirring often-at least four times or more. When the corn is tender and golden brown, remove the pan from the broiler and set aside to cool.

Combine the avocados, tomatoes, lime juice, and chipotle chili powder in a serving bowl. Stir in the roasted corn mixture and add salt and pepper to taste. (Add more chili powder if you prefer a spicier guacamole.) Serve immediately or chill and serve later.

Creamy Basil Sauce for Whole Wheat Pasta

Take some silken tofu and put it in a food processor with some fresh basil and garlic and process until smooth. Saute (in a little water) some sliced mushrooms, and add some of the tofu mixture (thin with water or soy/rice milk) and some diced tomatoes. Heat through and season with salt and pepper. Serve over favorite pasta.

Poached Pears

4 pears, preferably Bosc
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 cup cranapple juice

Halve, peel, and core the pears. Sprinkle freshly cut pears with lemon juice to prevent browning. Place in microwave-safe dish and cover with cranapple juice. Cover and cook on high 6 – 8 minutes or until pears are fork tender. (Check the pears after 6 minutes; the fresher the pears, the longer they’ll take to cook.) Spoon juice over pears, cover, and let stand 30 minutes or refrigerate overnight.
